Construction Equipment Mechanic Columbus

OHR Rents is hiring a skilled Construction Equipment Mechanic for our Columbus location. This role involves working with aerial lifts and other heavy equipment to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs — ensuring every machine in our fleet operates safely and reliably.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for both rental and customer-owned equipment
• Complete Preventive Maintenance (PM) services and Annual Inspections in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards
• Conduct thorough safety inspections on all equipment
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and sales personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working on construction or heavy equipment
• Experience with boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Valid Driver’s License required

• Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)
