OHR Rents is searching for a diesel and hydraulic mechanic, ideally with experience repairing general rental equipment, aerial work platforms and telehandlers.
Title: Equipment Technician
Reports To: Service Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and telehandlers
- Be able to conduct a preventative maintenance program on all machines,
- Operate aerial work platforms, telehandlers and forklifts
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience as a diesel mechanic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Knowledge of and commitment of best safety practices
